OUR PRINCIPLE
Our goal is to secure the present and the future through our choices.
The homes we build live in harmony with their environment – saving both energy and natural resources, in construction as well as in everyday use. Special attention is given to circular economy: for example, soil from the foundations is reused directly on site.
We build as much as possible with renewable natural materials, such as logs and timber growing in Finland, which leave a small carbon footprint. The materials we use consume little energy during their life cycle and can ultimately be returned to the natural cycle or recycled.
Architectural responsibility also means designing homes that are long-lasting and versatile – and respecting the surrounding landscape as well as cultural and historical values.
The future is visible in our children – Fiona dances at home, in a house where architecture has been created for a good life.
